Shipping Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Every print is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse — your photograph is printed for you, checked by hand and dispatched from the production facility closest to you.
Where your print is made
We work with a professional fine art printing partner that operates its own labs in three regions. Your order is produced at whichever lab serves your delivery address:
| Your delivery address | Printed and dispatched from |
|---|---|
| United Kingdom and Ireland | London, United Kingdom |
| European Union and rest of world | Düsseldorf, Germany |
| United States and Canada | Brooklyn, New York |
Printing locally is the reason delivery is fast and, for most of our customers, completely free of customs formalities.
Free shipping
Standard shipping is free on every order, to every country we ship to. There is no minimum order value and no shipping charge at checkout.
For deliveries to the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States your print does not cross a border, so there is nothing to pay on delivery: the price you see at checkout includes all applicable taxes and there are no customs charges, handling fees or courier disbursements.
For deliveries to all other countries shipping remains free, but you are the importer of record. Your national customs authority may charge import VAT, duty or a courier handling fee, and those charges are payable by you. We cannot calculate them in advance and they are not included in the price you pay us. If you would like an estimate before ordering, email us and we will tell you what we know.
How long it takes
Two things add up: the time to make the print, and the time to get it to you.
Production
- Unframed prints: 1–5 working days
- Framed and mounted works: 5–10 working days
Transit, once dispatched
- United Kingdom, Germany, rest of the European Union: 6–10 working days
- United States and Canada: 6–10 working days
- Rest of the world: 6–15 working days
In practice most unframed orders arrive within 7–15 working days of being placed. Framed work takes longer, because it is built to order.
Where we have not agreed a specific delivery date with you, we will deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest. If we cannot, we will tell you and you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Limited edition releases and periods around public holidays can add a few days. We will always tell you if your order is going to be materially later than the times above.
Tracking
You will receive two emails: an order confirmation when you pay, and a dispatch confirmation with a tracking number when your print leaves the lab. If you have not received a dispatch email within 8 working days, check your spam folder and then contact us.
If your order contains items produced at different labs, they may be dispatched separately and arrive on different days. You are not charged twice.
Packaging
Unframed prints are dispatched in protective packaging — flat-packed between rigid boards for smaller sizes, or rolled in a rigid tube for larger ones. Framed works are shipped in reinforced boxes with corner protection. Nothing is packed in a way that puts a crease anywhere near the image area.
Please keep the original packaging until you are certain you want to keep the print. If you decide to return it, you will need it (see our Refund Policy).
Delivery addresses
Please check your address carefully before paying. We can amend an address only if the order has not yet gone into production — email us immediately and we will try.
- Most carriers require a signature. If you will not be home, a work address is
usually the better choice.
- We can deliver to PO boxes and parcel lockers only where the carrier permits it
for the size of parcel concerned; large and framed works generally cannot be delivered this way.
- If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because the address was incorrect
or incomplete, or because delivery was not accepted after the carrier’s attempts, we will refund the price of the print but not the cost of the failed delivery.
If something goes wrong
Damaged in transit. Fine art travels well, but occasionally a parcel does not. Photograph the packaging and the print as you found them and email us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a free replacement, or a full refund if you prefer. Please do not discard the packaging before contacting us — the carrier may need to inspect it.
Lost in transit. If tracking has not moved for 10 working days, tell us. We will investigate with the carrier and either reprint or refund. You do not have to wait out an open carrier investigation before we put it right.
Wrong item. Contact us and we will correct it at our cost.
In all three cases you keep your statutory rights in full, and nothing in this policy limits them.
Countries we ship to
We currently ship to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand]. If your country is not listed at checkout, email us — we can usually arrange it.
